DJ Nurotic, has gone from being a basement DJ to performing at sold out arenas. His unique style of being able to mix various genres, including house, hip-hop, and Latin, has helped turn him in to the DJ/tastemaker/brand ambassador/producer that he is today. Whether it’s producing a remix, creating a mix for radio, or releasing a mixtape, Nurotic will find a way to grab your attention.
In 2010, DJ Nurotic premiered his first mix on 103.5 Kiss FM in Chicago, IL. From then on, he continued to grow his brand and became a mixshow DJ for other stations in the Midwest, including Hot 96 in Evansville, IN. and WFAV in Peoria, IL. To make himself stand out from other DJs who just play other artists music, DJ Nurotic produced a countless amount oforiginal songs, mash-ups, bootlegs, and remixes to add to his sets. He is also part of the Fred and Angi morning show, Friday mornings with his Friday Throwback Dance Party aka #FTDP.
Much of his success has stemmed from mixtapes that he has released. It started with “Self-Titled Vol. 1” and has grown to his current mixtape series, “#HourOfDopeness”, which DJ Nurotic teams up with some of the biggest stars in the EDM world to produce. In the last 2 years, Nurotic has collaborated with Clinton Sparks, The Disco Fries, Cash Cash, Diplo, Dillon Francis, and R3hab on mixtapes. Not only does he work with artist on mixtapes, he has also played many shows with artist, such as Robin Thicke, Pitbull, 5 Seconds of Summer, Cazzette, Ludacris, Krewella, and more.
DJ Nurotic worked as a tastemaker and brand ambassador for many companies, including; Hennessy, Young & Reckless, Mountain Dew, Monster Energy Drink, Rebels to Royals Clothing, Sony (headphones division). He makes himself approachable and is a very outgoing person, which make him ideal for brand representation.
After accomplishing so much, DJ Nurotic is still ambitious. He has plans on doing more nation and international shows as well as producing more original tracks. Entering his 8th year as a mixshow DJ on Chicago’s number 1 rated radio station, 103.5 Kiss FM, he still finds ways to keep his mixes fresh and keep the listeners interested. According to DJ Nurotic, this is stil the beginning and bigger and better things are still to come.
